The National Manufactured Home Owners Association (NMHOA)‘s mission is to promote, represent, preserve, and enhance the rights and interests of manufactured-home owners throughout the United States.
MHPHOA – Mobile Home Park Home Owners Allegiance – The MHPHOA are a group of current and previous mobile home owners who live in, or have lived in, a mobile home park owned by a Kort & Scott (KS) company and managed by Sierra Corporate Management (SCM) or another named DBA (Doing Business As). Our purpose is to provide mobile home owners with news and information regarding their mobile home park and the ongoing business activities of KS and SCM.
AARP California fights for your rights and the benefits that you have earned, such
as Social Security and Medicare information, access to health plans and insurance.
Senior Alliance for Empowerment (SAFE) is a statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to informing and assisting very low income, disabled, and veteran seniors, while promoting increased independence and improved quality of life. We facilitate home repairs through Community Development Block Grants and we partner with other local non-profit organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and The Home Depot Foundation to improve living conditions. We sponsor seminars and other educational events where community and senior leaders, governmental and organizational representatives, and other concerned members of the public and government may meet to exchange ideas, suggest solutions, and implement strategies to benefit seniors. We also assist seniors with finding available community services, understanding community regulations, and identifying and understanding elder abuse issues.
California Alliance for Retired Americans (CARA) is a statewide nonprofi torganization that unites retired workers and community groups to win social and economic justice, full civil rights, and a better, more secure future for ourselves, our families, and future generations. CARA is the official state affiliate of the Alliance for Retired Americans.
Congress of California Seniors is a strong voice for millions of seniors, their families and their communities. The organization focuses on advocacy, research and education. It partners with other senior groups, including senior centers throughout the state and provides volunteers at the grassroots level.
Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program (HICAP) provides free and objective information and counseling about Medicare. Volunteer counselors can help you understand your specific rights and health care options. HICAP also offers free educational presentations to groups of Medicare beneficiaries, their families and/or providers on a variety of Medicare and other health insurance related topics.
Tenants Together is a nonprofit organization dedicated to defending and advancing therights of California tenants to safe, decent and affordable housing. As California’s only statewide renters’ rights organization, Tenants Together works to improve the lives of California’s tenants through education, organizing and advocacy.
