Dick lives in Contempo Marin MHP in San Rafael and has served three times as HOA president and is currently president of their GSMOL chapter.

He has been a GSMOL member for 19 years and served on the Bylaws Committee that implemented the one member-one-vote bylaws change.

He was one of two HOA members serving as liaison in the 14-year federal lawsuit where the park owner, ELS, challenged San Rafael’s RSO as unconstitutional. The case ultimately went to the US Supreme Court, which ruled in the city’s favor.

He was recently a GSMOL Associate Manager for Marin County.
